Vishwakarma Samaj (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the VSAMAJ mobile application (“App”) and the website https://vsamaj.amrutoxstudio.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the App or our online services.

• Mobile number (for OTP login and account verification)

• Profile photo (optional, uploaded by you)

• Gender (only when required for membership pricing)

• Payment-related information (transaction ID, payment status, amount, membership or donation type)

We do not store your full debit/credit card, UPI PIN, or net banking credentials on our servers. Payments are processed by our payment partner.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Session ID (stored on your device to keep you logged in)
• App usage data (such as login time, membership status, and payment history within the App)
• Device and technical data needed to run the App (such as device type, operating system, and app version)

We do not collect precise GPS location from your device. Location fields (state, district, block) are selected by you from our directory lists.

You can deny camera or photo access, but profile photo upload will not work.

• Show your profile to other members (as per samaj rules)

• Maintain payment history

3. Member Directory & Profile Visibility

If you are an active member, certain profile information (such as name, city, and masked mobile number) may be visible to other registered members in the Community section. Profile photos may also be shown if you upload one. Mobile numbers are masked when shown to other members (for example, ******1234).

4. Payments

Membership and donation payments are processed through Cashfree (or other payment gateways configured by us). When you pay, you are redirected to a secure payment page. Payment details are handled by the payment provider. We receive only payment confirmation details such as order ID, transaction status, and amount.

5. Third-Party Services

• Cashfree — payment processing
• YouTube — embedded videos in notifications
• Social media links — Facebook, Instagram, YouTube (opened in your browser when you tap them)

These services have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for how third parties handle your data.

• Your account data is stored on our secure servers
• A session token is stored locally on your device to keep you logged in
• We use HTTPS to encrypt data sent between the App and our servers
• We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure

• Account data — as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services
• Payment records — as required for accounting, tax, and legal purposes
• Session data — until you log out or the session expires
